The hard part of enterprise AI is rarely the model. It is data readiness, adoption, and passing review. That is the part I own.
Retrieval-augmented assistants, conversational agents and agentic automation — scoped with the business, built with vendors, tested to defined exit criteria, and taken through go-live.
API, SSO and e-KYC integrations across six insurer platforms. Requirements discovery, vendor briefing, joint UAT with external counterparts, cutover and hypercare.
MAS TRM, MAS AI Risk Management Guidelines, PDPA and ITGC. Materiality scoring, pre-deployment control gates, risk registers, and holding delivery partners to contract.
Selected work
Led platform evaluation across AWS Bedrock and Google Cloud Vertex AI against a Singapore data-residency requirement. Designed materiality scoring and pre-deployment control gates aligned to MAS AI Risk Management Guidelines, MAS TRM and PDPC AI guidance. Identified single-maintainer dependency risk on business-critical AI infrastructure, escalated it formally onto the technology risk register, and drove remediation.
Replaced a menu-driven bot with retrieval-augmented generation grounded in internal case and policy document repositories. Owned scoping, vendor management, accuracy testing and UAT — including the decision to exit an underperforming vendor after a failed trial run, without schedule impact.
Led design and UAT through independent external review. Defined exit criteria, escalation-to-human paths and approval gates before go-live — the governance scaffolding that lets a conversational agent reach production in a regulated environment.
End-to-end delivery across Singlife, HSBC Life, FWD, Etiqa, EQ Insurance and Tokio Marine — SSO, e-KYC, quotation, digital fact-find and straight-through application flows. Multi-party delivery with no authority over the other parties, run to fixed compliance deadlines while sustaining BAU service levels.
Built and shipped end to end as sole engineer, from client discovery through conversational design, deployment and iteration. Make.com orchestration, Chatbase conversational layer, Airtable data store, Telegram delivery channel. Evidence that the pilot loop still runs fast when it is my own hands on it.
Project manager for a national digital archive programme, with outsourcing partners across Germany, Latvia, China and Cambodia. Established the standardised processes and templates that made upgrades repeatable across teams. Built an OCR batch application processing two million scanned microfilm images into PDF and XML.
